This archipelago consists of 150 islands covering an area of 114 square miles (300 square km), with most of it declared a National Park – and with its natural beauty, numerous coves, and crystal clear blue waters, it’s easy to see why.
George Bernard Shaw fell in love with the group of islands and said: “On the last day of Creation God desired to crown His work, and thus created the Kornati islands out of tears, stars and breath.”
Great tour, big ship, very convenient not to in Zadar but rather from Nin to skip the crowd.
Will come again.
The Kornati are must-see for everyone coming to Zadar region.
We enjoyed the salt lake and the cliffs; the lunch was well prepared and delicious. Thanks
The boat trip was great, with very nice people on board. The guide was friendly and gave us many (but not too many) interesting informations. We had two breaks on two different beautiful islands, with a generous lunch on the second one. The trip was 8 hours long but we didn’t get bored thanks to the landscape and the festive atmosphere on board. Good value, I recommand !
Very nice excursion directly from the resort.
They did not disappoint! The views from the top of the boat were fantastic and we sunbathed for about an hour before stopping for lunch. The choice was fish or chicken and we chose the fish which was really tasty. They told us it had been caught fresh that day and it certainly tasted so, and along with the salad and bread and second portions, we were very happy.
We then had about an hour and a half to explore the island and swim on our own without other tourists or onlookers.
We returned to the boat and took a shorter journey back to the marina. The captain was eager to please and very enthusiastic and we had a memorable time. Would definitely recommend this excursion to others even if you’re on a budget.
